Radio Faza is targeted on the South Asian and Eastern European Communities living in Nottingham. It broadcasts in a variety of different languages to an independent audience. The station promotes and supports local projects and provides listeners with entertainment, information, advice and the opportunity to share their stories and life experiences.The service broadcasts 24 hours/day – 7 days per week featuring traditional and popular Asian music, and programmes in Urdu, Punjabi, Bengali, English, Gujrati and Pashto languages.Radio Faza has invested in its online and social media presence to enable local, national and international listeners to hear our broadcasts. Radio Faza enables listeners to know what is happening both within their area and their community, and have a platform to participate in and contribute their views about issues that effect them. We regularly ask for feedback from our listeners to ensure that we are inclusive and reflect their preferences and priorities, taking account of the various listener segments (young people, gender, age, ethnic origin etc.) with a secular non-religious outlook; we are the only community radio station serving our community that does this.
